A few Saturday’s ago (I know I’m late, kill the messenger)… A few Saturday’s ago I tried an amazing cycle class that my friends have been raving about for the past few months. If you’re wondering it’s called KTX Fitness. The Instructor, Keith Thompson travels across the country to give you a fun, energized fitness experience in each class.
After an hour of booty poppin’, chair grinding, and the speakers blasting I decided to grab brunch with my friends. They introduced me to, Tout Suite, a local favorite cafe that serves simple farm fresh foods and mouthwatering baked goods. We walked into a modern, open industrial-like warehouse and were immediately introduced by brightly glass shelves displaying baked goods and a choice of health juices. My eyes immediately gravitated to the strawberry cream cheese croissants so I added that to my order first. I grabbed the sixth drink that was an anti-inflammatory, hair-skin health drink, it had a large “N°6” as the labeling, of course. I specifically chose the juice because I knew the pineapple, coconut water, and apple ingredients would make for one sweet drink. I also ordered an avocado toast with radishes to try because Song of Style is always raving about it on Snapchat.
Houston Dining: Second Anniversary at Toute Suite
I grabbed my order number and proceeded to see what else Toute Suite had in store for me to play with. Side note: I’m one of those customers that grabs one of everything from napkins to chopsticks, you name it, I need it! I grabbed my condiments and walked down a few flight of stairs to walk into what resembled my University’s cafeteria. It was a wide, open, naturally bright area with family-style tables around making it easier to get to know your neighbor. I got so acquainted with my seat neighbor so well to the point of bumping elbows. I’m so tall that I need an adequate amount of elbow space, SORRY GUY!
Five minutes into losing Candy Crush and plenty of elbow crashing, I finally received my deliciously looking strawberry cream cheese croissant and avocado-radish toast. I was saddened by their yummy features and knew they would be devoured in a matter of minutes. My first bite into the avocado-radish toast, way okay. I thought they could have gone easy on the avocado since it overpowered the toast. Either way, when I try it again I’ll make sure to specify being easy on the avocado. My favorites were the croissant and of course the juice. I’m a sweets fanatic and was thrilled about not feeling guilty for eating natural good-for-you ingredient foods.
